Conte sacking cost Chelsea £26.6m

The Premier League club’s most recent records show they paid a sum of £26.6m in pay to previous lead trainer Conte and his reserved alcove staff and legitimate expenses.

Conte was sacked by Chelsea in July 2018 following two years in control, and was later supplanted by Maurizio Sarri.

Previous Italy midfielder Conte controlled Chelsea to the 2017 Premier League title yet was rejected a year later with a year left on his agreement as the group completed fifth and neglected to meet all requirements for the Champions League.
