Police arrest masquerader for stabbing man

The Ondo State Police Command on Tuesday said its had captured an impostor and one of his supporters for purportedly wounding to death a 30-year-old man who declined to give them cash.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Olugbenga Adeyanju, told newsmen that the impostor, Olu Olowokere and his multi year-old supporter, Adaramola Ajuloko, supposedly slaughtered one Femi Makanjuola amid a celebration in Akure.

“On Oct. 6, a 33-year-old Seun Makanjuola of Adu Memorial, off Saint Francis Grammar School Gaga, Akure detailed at ‘B’ Division Police Station that his more youthful sibling was wounded to death for declining give masquereder and his supporter cash.

“The masquerder, Olowokere, and one Adaramola Ajuloko were captured while one Deji Dada of Jeje Street, Danjuma and Sunday Adaramola of Olorunsogo Street, Gaga,Akure are still everywhere,” he said.

The police chief said that the suspects would before long show up in court after the fruition of investigation.(NAN)
